Adoption of CloudCover’s Maintenance Management Platform and Global Data Center Services Grow As New Support Hires Are Added to the Team

Irvine, CA: July 20, 2021 – CloudCover, a Gartner-recognized “Cool Vendor” in Service Channel Enablement is expanding its operations and development teams with two new hires.[1]  Alexander Bondurant has been added to the in-house development team as the new Principal Solutions Architect and Aubrey Pieters joins sales operations as the new Sales Support Analyst. Both were added within weeks of each other. These are key new hires brought in to help meet the expanded demand for the CloudCover Maintenance Contract Management (MCM) Platform by the company’s growing Channel Partner client base.

CloudCover has seen close to a dozen new hires within the past 6 months and a 60% overall growth in the number of employees in less than a year. A large majority of the headcount has been in their operations and engineering teams as rollouts for new features and support have continued to increase.

“Merger and acquisitions in the IT maintenance space have Channel Partners worried about what effects it could have on their service delivery partners and the ultimate impact it could have on their end users,” said Jeff Huggins, President and CEO in a recent statement.  “They’re looking for trusted partners and efficient solutions to help them steadily manage their growing maintenance portfolios.”

“VARs have already been using our platform to better manage their own renewal revenues for years and CloudCover has always allowed for our Channel Partners to brand their own platform versions and offer it to their enterprise end users,” he added. “Now more and more are choosing to offer CloudCover for their end users to create or expand their managed service offerings. This is good for the reseller industry and their customers. Resellers are giving their clients an added value to their maintenance services, which helps them keep the business they already have. End users are getting their own platform to track and evaluate their assets in a single, intelligent dashboard, regardless of the service provider. As deeper adoption of the platform is growing with Resellers and their end users, we are rapidly scaling our teams and capabilities up to meet those demands.”

CloudCover has been quietly rolling out new advanced features to platform clients in the past couple of months with several big releases planned for the end of year. These features have been developed in partnership with CloudCover’s existing Channel Partners’ feedback. Even with the growth in headcount, CloudCover has been strategic and nimble with its hiring process. “I’m on almost every demo to both facilitate and lend a strategic ear,” said Jennifer Homan, Director of Sales Operations. “We’ve been really focused on listening to our customers and using that feedback to aid updates in our products to benefit our Channel Customers and their end users. Growing this team is a natural extension of the overall customer experience Sales Operations already supports. We’re excited to have Aubrey Pieters on board.”

Adding Bondurant signals a deeper commitment to keeping development in-house which will continue to aid more rapid product iterations and rollouts. “My drive to do what I do comes from seeing the value people gain from the software I write and design,” said Bondurant. “The number one thing I keep in mind is how will this let someone do business easier and more efficiently. I instantly saw those same values reflected in the team at CloudCover.”
