Bringing years of success as both an entrepreneur and investor, Jeff Huggins launched CloudCover in 2013 after recognizing the changes in the IT maintenance management space. Previous to CloudCover, Jeff had already launched and sold several successful IT companies.
But as IT environments grew more complex and risks and cost took on more variety, he recognized the growing need from customers for what the industry now calls “Hybrid Maintenance Management.”
With the move away from a single source model and into a diversified support profile of hybrid maintenance the need for a single repository that allowed customers to manage their hybrid environment in a normalized, easy to understand view became clear.
Through CloudCover, Jeff has built a company focused on creating the only AI backed hybrid maintenance management platform solution, supported by a data science team and backed up by an expert global service delivery team. His leadership skills have attracted other like-minded highly motivated leaders to the company who share the same passion to build flexible, creative, and nimble IT solutions.
Joe spent the past thirty years working with great teammates, leaders, and financial sponsors in transforming SMS from a regional IT service provider to the global leader in independent support. Upon pivoting from entrepreneurial ownership in 2005, SMS (now Curvature) grew at a CAGR of over 20% through his departure in 2019. His most recent roles included Managing Director of North America, and Chief of Staff to the CEO.
Joe is excited to join CloudCover as the company is well positioned to take advantage of several disruptive market forces that will enable greater opportunities for CloudCover’s community of resellers. CloudCover has an industry leading SaaS platform that enables VARs, MSPs and other types of resellers to normalize all the inbound data they receive from OEMs, Distributors, and other suppliers.
This normalization provides users with customized dashboard views of all contracts simplifying change and renewal management, budgeting, and upgrade planning. Incident management can also be incorporated along with APIs to interact with current systems. Joe looks forward to building a GTM strategy and supporting sales team that will empower our clients to achieve their growth objectives.
