CloudCover Continues Its Rapid Growth with Two New Sales Leadership Hires

To meet new business growththe Gartner Cool Vendor in Service Channel Enablement adds two new Regional Managers to the team

Irvine, CA: Jan 25, 2021 – CloudCover, a Gartner-Recognized “Cool Vendor” in Service Channel Enablement, is continuing its rapid growth, adding two Regional Managers to the team. Derek Zak has been brought on as the new Regional Manager for the West and Jeff Morton has been named as the Northeast Regional Manager. Both are long-time veterans of the technology industry.

They join a growing sales and marketing team including the addition of Joe Scordino as the new Chief Revenue Officer in November. Both Derek and Jeff will report directly to Joe.

“Scaling up our team aligns with the opportunities and value we see in bringing CloudCover to the attention of more resellers and VAR’s,” said Jeff Huggins, President and CEO of CloudCover. “Channel Partners are seeing how CloudCover allows them to create their own managed services business while also increasing the value prop to their customers with better service and support through the platform. I see our team continuing to grow to meet these opportunities, at a faster scale.”

“Derek and Jeff have years of experience working closely with Channel customers in the IT services space,” added Joe. “They immediately understood CloudCover’s unique offering for customers. Our platform is really the only solution on the market that can normalize disparate sources of maintenance data into a single, intelligent, and actionable dashboard. They join the team excited to help resellers struggling with ‘data overload’ in their businesses.”

Both regional managers have deep IT Channel experience. Derek Zak joins from his work in the Channel with Tech Data and Jeff Morton joins from his work in the Channel from Curvature (now Park Place Technologies).
