CloudCover’s Growth Continues, Tripling Product Development Team and Promoting New Key Leadership to Meet Growing Channel Partnership Demands

Irvine, CA:  April 26, 2023 – CloudCover, a Gartner-Recognized “Cool Vendor in Channel Enablement” has made several large investments in their product and development teams, tripling the department headcount, and adding new, executive leadership roles.  These changes are part of a company-wide response to meet new, growing demands from the channel on several key product offerings.

Customer demand for CloudCover’s SaaS products and maintenance services has grown significantly in the past two years and CloudCover has received several awards recognizing their rapid growth in the channel. These recognitions have included being named #46 on CRN’s Fastest Growth 150 list and to CRN’s MES Matters List as one of the Key Vendors Serving the Midmarket.

Details surrounding the latest product and development team expansion include the promotion of Alexander Bondurant to the new role of Vice President of Information Technology.

Alex joined CloudCover less than two years ago as CloudCover’s Principal Solutions Architect. His new role will place him as a part of CloudCover’s growing executive team leading the company’s development and productization efforts.  Since joining the team in 2021, Alex has established a cloud infrastructure practice for   of products that  support the company’s growth and business strategy as the premier channel enablement partner for IT lifecycle management, contract renewal, and partner-lead global services.

For the year ahead, new expansion will focus on more deeply integrating CloudCover’s SaaS products with their full stack of maintenance services including OnDemand™   Field Services and global services delivery. This will allow the engineering team to be more proactive in the way CloudCover develops new features, service offerings, and products. Their focus will be on rapidly identifying and building product and service solutions that can drive real, meaningful changes for channel partner  customers’ experiences.

“Alex’s promotion and investment in our development team are necessary resources to meet our larger goals. Their focus will be on the productization of our platform to match pace with our customers’ functional needs,” said Jeff Huggins, CEO and President of CloudCover.  “Our portfolio of SaaS products to support our channel partner clients and their customers has grown tremendously in the past year. Channel partners can already customize their platform with a variety of different product solutions and integration points for better visibility of their maintenance portfolios. Using our platform’s ever-growing intelligence allows our channel partner clients to increase operational efficiencies through automation and accommodate the desire of customers for transparency around their infrastructures’ lifecycles.

Speaking more on the platform’s artificial intelligence, Jeff continued, “Our platform’s machine learning works to continuously improve service delivery and transparency. As we continue to mature our SaaS products, our focus remains on channel partner enablement. We recognize that contracts and their associated maintenance service data is filled with nuances, making it difficult to process into useful insights for channel partners. Partners need an easier way to understand what the data is telling them to do and how it can improve their businesses. That’s where our artificial intelligence built for the channel comes in and where it sets us apart. ”

The promotion and additional headcount come during the largest two years of growth for CloudCover’s global services and support products. That growth has included the acquisition of Palotac last year which added access to over 1,200 new engineers, and 130 countries for hardware replacement, and expert TAC support, globally.

“I’m very excited to lead the CloudCover technology team through this stage of growth and transformation,” added Alex from his new role as Vice President of Information Technology.  “Leaning on the depth of our existing technical knowledge and expanding those into new ideas on how to improve overall customer experiences will allow CloudCover to more rapidly – and thoughtfully – solve our customers’ ever-evolving needs.”
